Pre-Event Packet

For those of you who have participated in Youth Encounter's Zones, you know that a month before the Zone for which you are registered, we send a packet of information to you at the church. Often, it gets lost in the mail, thrown away or given to the wrong person. In addition, this system costs Youth Encounter a lot of money in printing costs, postage, and staff hours (stuffing, copying, collating, etc.).

This year we are moving to a new system that will benefit both you and Youth Encounter! Starting in the fall of 2005, you will be able to download your Zone's Pre-Event Packet ONLINE—whenever you want! No more waiting for it to come in the mail! No more worrying that it will sit on someone's desk for two weeks before it gets to your desk! No more trouble with it being given to the wrong person! The new system also helps us be good stewards of the environment by greatly reducing the amount of paper we use, as well as our postage costs.

Here's how the new and improved system will work:

After the Standard Postmark Deadline for your Zone, we will send a receipt to everyone who has registered, indicating what your final balance will be on-site (assuming that you do not have any changes to your registration, have not applied for any discounts or will not be paying by credit card). We will also include information about the two options you have regarding how you'd like to receive your Zone's Pre-Event Packet.

Option 1—The New System:

Download all your Pre-Event Packet materials whenever you want! All you need to do is go to your specific Zone's webpage. After October 1, you will find the standard Pre-Event Packet pieces, and one month before each Zone you will be able to find more detailed information (schedule, etc.).

Option 2:

You would like to receive a hard copy of your Pre-Event Packet. Please call 1-800-659-6884, ext. 8350, and leave a message requesting that we send you a complete paper copy of your Pre-Event materials. (You will receive a packet similar to what we've sent in the past.) Please be sure to leave your Church name, address and member number, as well as your name and phone number.
