Team Scheduling FAQ
Q: How do I schedule a team?
A:
Call or e-mail the representative who serves your region. They are happy to help! Click here to find contacts for your region.
Q: What will it cost to host a team?
A: The fees range from $50 to $1400, depending on what you want the team
to do and how long you want them to stay. In order to meet our costs,
we suggest a minimum offering of $350 for each week night and/or $450
for Sunday morning.
Q: What are the responsibilities of a host church/organization?
A: Hosts are asked to provide housing and meals for the team and payment for the program.
Q: Can the team members all stay with the same family?
A: Yes. The congregation can have them stay with one or several families, as long as the men
and women sleep in separate rooms.
Q: What does a host family do?
A: A host family provides a welcoming home, food and fellowship.
Q: What kind of a program can the team do?
A: They can do concerts, lead worship, assist with retreats and lock-ins,
lead Bible Study, lead music for Vacation Bible School, or lead
funshops on a variety of topics.
Q: Can I get promotional material?
A: Absolutely! We are happy to help! We send 5 full color posters, a press
release, photos, bulletin inserts, a biographical information sheet and
a hosting guide for your use in sharing your excitement about hosting
the team. If you have scheduled a Sunday morning, a copy of our
thematic Worship Service will also be included. Additional copies of
items are available by request or on our website.
Q: When does the promotional material come?
A: The materials usually arrive six weeks prior to your program date.

Q: What kind of music does the band perform?
A: They usually perform contemporary Christian music, including sing-a-longs and praise and worship songs.
Q: What happens if we need to cancel?
A: We discourage cancellations. However, if you must cancel and it is less
than 30 days before your scheduled program date, we ask that you still
provide housing and meals for the team.
Q: Does the team ever get a day off? If so, what do they do on their day off?
A: They like to do many different things on their day off. They like to
rest by doing such things as sleeping in, writing letters, checking
e-mail, seeing a movie, or being a tourist.
Q: How much are the team members paid?
A: Team members are volunteers. They receive a small stipend for personal needs that are not met by host congregations.
Q: Why should people come to hear this band?
A: They share the good news of Jesus Christ through contemporary Christian
music that youth enjoy. They encourage youth to grow in their Christian
faith and relationships with each other. They model Christian
discipleship and demonstrate Christian service.
