Katrina Work Crews

The Gulf Coast Needs You!

Thousands have been left homeless and without the basic daily necessities for life because of the devastation of Katrina. Certain areas of the region (New Orleans) are getting lots of attention while other areas seem to have been forgotten.

Youth Encounter has been given the opportunity to partner with a church in Ocean Springs, MS, one of the forgotten areas, to help rebuild.

To do this we need your help! How?

  • Donation of time - more than anything we need YOU!
  • Donation of money - help support us as we get the word out.
  • Donation of food and supplies - hold drives in your church.

We need people who would be willing to invest of their time:

  • Be a point person in your church helping us get the word out.
  • Adults needed for a long term mission assignment (4-6 weeks)
  • Youth and Adults needed to be part of a team for a short term (1 week) mission assignment
