Jennifer Miller
Event Ministry Director
Jennifer has been actively involved with Youth Encounter since 1987, participating in the ministry through Spoke Folk, Event Planning Crews, Captive Free, team training Program Director and currently as the Event Director in charge of Event Program Personnel and Mid-East Coast Events.Jennifer and her husband Todd returned to their home state of Virginia in 2001 after four wonderful (but very cold) years in Minnesota. Todd teaches fifth grade, and Jennifer is excited to be continuing as a Remote Event Director, working out of their home. They have two children, Sean Patrick and Liam Paul. When she is not planning Events, Jennifer enjoys listening to music, watching movies, scrapbooking, making jewelry, traveling, hanging out with friends and family, doing anything or nothing with Todd, snuggling her kids, and being in the warm Virginia sun!

Courtney Young
Event Ministry Director
Courtney was born in New Jersey and raised all over the place. Because she moved around a lot when she was young, she began to appreciate new places and looked forward to meeting all sorts of new people. Courtney's most recent move was from St. Louis (named "The most dangerous city" in 2006) to Anoka, MN. She's hoping this title doesn't follow her up north. After traveling with Captive Free North Central 04-05, she moved to St. Louis but missed Minnesota's beautiful lakes and cold winters, and eventually found her way back. Courtney loves to laugh and doesn't miss an opportunity to listen to live music or the rain, take unexpected road trips, or eat peanut butter cups.
